To do that, we create compelling and unique customer propositions based onbelievable insights, and we communicate those propositions to customers.
Business Support and Retail Operations
Our Retail Operations and Business Support teams are at the heart of Tesco, making sure that everything runs smoothly and safely for both our customers and colleagues.
Finance
Core of our business, off ering a huge variety of roles and specialisms. You could join our team of auditors providing insight and advice to the Board and management; or work with our property experts to make sure money is spent wisely on the investments that will benefit the business most.
Technology
Permeates our entire business from supply chain to stores, and of course online too. The Technology team is responsible for driving change and delivering value by building great digital products and infrastructure for our customers and colleagues — from the systems in our stores, to the websites our customers use, and applications our offi ce teams interact with every day.
People
Without our colleagues, Tesco just wouldn’t be Tesco. That’s why we call our Human Resources function the People team. Our colleagues are at the heart of what we do: serving our customers better every day, so we’re passionate about creating an environment where they can do their best.
Property
It’s our responsibility to look after each stage of sourcing and building a store as well as overseeing our estate. We manage it all – from evaluating a potential site to establishing the store itself; from maintaining it once it’s opened to ensuring that we provide the best services to our customers.
Supply Chain
In Supply Chain, we’re passionate about giving our customers what they want and when they want it. Our aim is to get thousands of products from factories and farms around the world to the shelfs (virtual and physical) so that we can satisfy millions of customers every week – simply put: right product, right place, right time.
Communication
we are the one building trust and loyalty among our colleagues, customers, media, local communities and non-profit organizations through accurate, but also creative and modern communication. We manage relationships between Tesco and governance and drive interesting CSR activities. Overall, it takes professionals to create such a communication.
Legal
you probably know Tesco as a place where you like to go shopping. It takes many specialists to create such a place, for example it woudn´t be possible without our lawyers. They make sure that everything we do is according to the law and they give legal support to other teams in our company.
Malls
this team is responsible for leasing our tenant untis and taking care of shopping malls in our stores. There is no space to be bored. We spend time not only int the office, but also travellling. We meet interesting people and we like challenges.
