About programme
During our 6-9 months programme you will have opportunity to:
- work in an international environment in one of our departments:
Product, Customer, Supply Chain or Space, Range & Display - steer you carer path in chosen sphere according to your interests
- develop your managerial skills with help of our best leaders
- understand how our business works in different formats and CE markets
- meet colleagues with other countries and your programme mates
- manage day to day challenges, work on real tasks and the projects which makes

You will like
the programme if:
- You are interested in working in retail company and you can look at things by our customers‘ eyes
- You have finished study (min. Bachelor), maximally 2 years ago
- You feel comfortable to use English every day in both, spoken and written way. Your level is min. B1+
- You are open for travelling – some parts of the programme will require to travels within the country and our CE markets
- You are ambitious and open for new challenges and development
- You don‘t expect babysitting, but want to work on retail tasks and projects
Program in 2021 is running in:
Product.
If you like food or developing new products, Product team is the right choice for you. You’ll work across our food or general merchandise categories, covering all stages of the product lifecycle and making sure that we deliver the products that customers want.
Marketing.
Are you a born trader who sees satisfied customers in the first place in everything he does? In the marketing department, you will have the opportunity to influence our business to follow the key promise of “Every little help makes a big difference” and create interesting and unique offers for customers based on that.
Supply chain.
In the supply chain department, you will make sure that we can offer our customers the goods they want and when they want it. The goal of colleagues from the department is to get thousands of products from factories and farms around the world to our shelves (virtual and physical). The right product + the right place + the right time = millions of satisfied customers every week.
Finance.
You will work in Finance Department – surprisingly work in Finance team is a lot about understanding numbers, data and being able to interpret this to the rest of the business in an understandable way. Finance is a vital part of the business, you need to understand and analyze past data and forecast the future and advise leaders to do the right decisions supported by the right analysis and predictions.
HR.
You will work in People Department – work in this department is really about people – recruiting them, helping them with their onboarding, understanding what skills are needed and helping them to get them and grow their potential, ensuring fair reward and interesting offer of benefits, listening to their feedback, helping them to be at their best, attracting and retaining best talents on the market.
Operations.
You will work in Operations Department – its aim is to ensure a great support to our teams in stores via ensuring aligned and smooth processes where it make sense, looking for improvements and simplification in current processes. You might join local or central teams that are at the daily contact with stores, need to understand processes and its dependencies. We are working closely with stores to understand specific customer behavior and needs on the market to reflect in whatever we do.
Project management.
You will work in one of our teams where we look for improvements and simplifications of the processes or we are about to introduce a new project. – truly an exciting place to work in. We work on introducing brand new programs and improving and simplifying the existing ones to ensure a great offer for our customers.

process look like?

English test
If you meet our requirements we invite you to do the test to check your English skills. We operate on four markets in Europe, so English is for us second language.
Phone interview
During the telephone interview we are looking at your motivation for Tesco and your career aspiration. This is also a good opportunity for you to find out more about us and ask the questions.

It is about final decision. We want to be sure that we are the good match. You will have a chance to meet the sponsor of the programme and get to know about future opportunities.
Programme starts in September by meeting other participants and our team.
